John White

JOHN TYLER WHITE, JR, age 80, Mt. Olivet, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1938 to the late John Tyler White and Mariah Chamberlain White Brierly, he was retired from Milk Control Branch after 30 years and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians for over 60 years and member of Piqua United Methodist Church. John was a United States Air Force veteran, a Kentucky Colonel recipient, the first president of Robertson County Jayces and a Mt. Olivet Lion's Club member and officer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jolly White; three sons, Tyler White, Lancaster and Timothy White and Todd White, both of Mt. Olivet; four grandchildren, Amanda White, Jason (Liz) White II, Alecia (Joel) Simpson and Jenna (Bradley) Smith; five great grandchildren, Kendal White, Hadley Simpson, Brentley Smith, Hudson Simpson and Bryleigh Smith. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Bill Henry and Lee Doyle. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Piqua United Methodist Church or Hospice of Hope. Active pallbearers will be Mickey Wheary, Jason White, Dwayne Miller, Mark Miller, Larry Miller, Paul Burns and Charley Cheatam.
